I absolutely LOVE my P90X bars and I personally have one every day with my coffee at 10:30 am. It’s my reward for all my hardwork I put into P90X! But its much more than a mere “treat,” it’s packed with 20 grams of high quality protein, contains  the right amount of carbohydrates, and has a healthy dose of multivitamins that will help aid muscle recovery and fuel your body with energy.

The P90X bars are also a lifesaver for when you are on the road or otherwise tempted by bad food choices. You can save yourself a lot of grief by having a bar while being completely satisfied. Crisis averted!

It’s very hard to find a high protein bar like the P90X Peak Performance that delivers quality ingredients without being too sweet. That’s the problem with other brands, they’re way too sweet! Not only that, but high amounts of added simple sugars lead to an unwanted spike in insulin resulting in hunger. Not good when you are trying to stay on your nutrition plan!

All the flavors taste amazing and Beachbody® is the only company I know of that has a “Coffee” high protein bar. If you like coffee flavored foods, then you gotta try the Cafe Mocha! The Chocolate Peanut butter is like a crunchy wafer texture and is delicious. The Chocolate Fudge is sure to please any of you chocoholics out there! The Wildberry is the only flavor that is on the intense side, but is a nice break from all the chocolate.

You probably noticed the “New and Improved” and want to know the difference from the old P90X Bars. In a nutshell, Beachbody® lowered the sugar amount in the bars while not changing the flavor one bit. Genius, I tell you! Beachbody® also made the bars softer, which makes them even more delicious.

I actually find the new Wildberry is even better because the sweetness has been toned down. I formerly referred to it as eating a “kick in the pants” because it was intense. Now, it is lessened and I believe its perfect! The Cafe Mocha and Chocolate Fudge are the same, but the Chocolate Peanut Butter is a completely new flavor. I love the new flavor, but was sad to see the old go which was a favorite of mine.

You can order them by the box (12 bars) and I prefer to buy the variety pack so I can get all 4. Your best bet is to buy them along with your P90X Recovery Drink so the shipping is combined, saving you about $6!
