Ultimate Reset Review Day 15-16Ultimate Reset Review Day 15

Today is day one of the final week, called Restore. During this last phase the foods on the menu are highly nutritious and rich with healthy antioxidants. Some, like the kale, aUltimate Reset Asian-Cabbage-Saladre considered “superfoods” which basically means they have the highest nutritional benefit of any food item available. Actually, these foods have been on the menu since the beginning, but now we gradually reduce grains so we eat these healthy foods in greater amounts.

Phase 3 also starts the new Ultimate Reset supplement, Revitalize. This is both a prebiotic and probiotic blend which will help restore healthy bacteria into our body. This approach is unique as other cleanse programs often ignore this important step to revitalizing the body.

The new recipes of the day were the Asian Cabbage Salad and Garlic Veggies. The Asian Cabbage surprised me and I enjoyed it much more than I could possibly have imagined. This will definitely be a household recipe because it not only taste great but is really easy to make. My past experience told me to use less dressing and my instincts were correct. Both the Bragg Liquid Aminos and the toasted Sesame oil has a strong taste, not to mention the Bragg is very salty. I basically halved all the dressing ingredients and that went perfect.Ultimate Reset Recipe Garlic-Veggies

The downside is  one less tablespoon of sesame oil which is  about 120 calories of healthy fats. To offset this loss, I added toasted sesame seeds to the salad, which I was surprised wasn’t already part of the recipe since it worked perfect. I have another thought, you could saute the onions in one tablespoon of oil and use the other with the dressing. Sounds like a plan for next time!

The Garlic Veggies was awesome too! Which was no surprise as I love garlic. The dinner was supposed to be a baked sweet potato but I still had some Roasted Root Medley left over so I had that instead. Can you tell I love that recipe since I keep eating it? lol

Ultimate Reset Review Day 16Ultimate Reset Recipe Curry-cauliflower

Today was fresh fruit for breakfast and another microgreen salad for lunch. Dinner was a new recipe, Curry Cauliflower and Lemon Pepper Kale. I LOVE curry, although I’m not a big fan of cauliflower. However, the recipe was actually rather good and I admit I liked it much better than I thought I would.

Ultimate Reset Positive Benefits

I’ve decided for the first time to reflect on how much I have changed these past two weeks from being on the Ultimate Reset. For starters, I no longer have cravings for any foods I previously ate. I thought for sure ditching the coffee would be the hardest to do, but the positive effects of being caffeine free completely changed my viewpoint on what I once considered my daily ritual necessity.

Another food that I realize I don’t miss is my P90X chocolate protein bars. P90X bars are fantastic when doing a round to help supplement your nutrition plan. However, I continued to eat them in between rounds and soon became very dependent on them. I don’t even think about chocolate anymore and I know that’s because I have so many natural sugars throughout the day that I really don’t have any sugar cravings at all.

The only food I initially craved was milk. I am a big cereal eater and have it at least 3 times a week. I love Kashi cereals, with come protein powder and ground flaxseed. I’ve been away from milk so long that I don’t really miss it anymore and thanks to the Ultimate Reset, I love having fresh fruit for breakfast.

If you have been reading my Ultimate Reset journals, you will know that I battled morning grogginess for a long time. I have met others who have experienced the “get up and go” bed rising effect as a result of the Ultimate Reset and longed for this benefit as well. I was so anxiously awaiting this moment as if there was some kind of “switch,” but I realize that I had already achieved this awesome phenomena.

One more thing has happened that I never expected as a result of being on the Ultimate Reset. I no longer have pain in my left elbow. On any given day, I have pain in my left elbow anywhere from mild to aggravating. On rare occasions, I have to take pain reliever to mask my discomfort. The reason for this is because I tend to uncontrollably sleep in an awkward position that puts strain on my left arm. However, as I voiced in my early days of the Ultimate Reset, I now sleep extremely soundly, hardly moving at all. I may turn sides a few times, as opposed to the dozen or more before the Ultimate Reset. This was an unexpected gift as it makes a world of difference in my day as well as my mood.

Things are looking fantastic for me at this point, and I look forward to finishing the Ultimate Reset this week. I should point out, that I now run Ultimate Reset Challenge groups, just like I do with the programs. If you are considering starting the Ultimate Reset, don’t do it alone! Contact me about details on this very effective Facebook accountability group where you can go through the program with others in addition to me providing daily coaching and support.

That’s it for today. If you love my journal, please post a comment or two! Stay tuned tomorrow peeps! Click here to view my whole Ultimate Reset Review Journal or go straight to Day 17!
